'Stess Management' Training Improves Educator Effectiveness
Research indicates that the potential negative effects of stress in child care providers include, but are not limited to, poor judgment, irritability, insensitivity, impatience, forgetfulness, and overall lower quality experiences offered to children in their care. CCEI's Stress Management for Child Care Providers course provides an overview of the effects of stress on child care providers and recommends techniques for coping with and managing stress to improve professionalism and job satisfaction. Participants will learn to define stress, identify sources and symptoms of different types of stress, and identify a variety of stress management techniques.
