Effective Adult Education Requires Training to Meet Learning Needs
CCEI's course PROF101: Adult Learning Theories and Strategies has become a fast favorite for a number of users, including administrators and trainers, and is September's trial course for new users to determine if online training meets their needs. This one-hour course covers tailoring teaching strategies to a particular audience or individual and also discusses learning and communication styles. "Effective adult education requires more than just knowledge of the subject matter," said Maria C. Taylor, President and CEO of CCEI. "Instructors should be trained in the strategies of adult education so they know how to best accommodate individual learning and communication styles of the adults they train or manage."
