Testing Radon in Child Care Environments

Clean Air in Child Care, CCEI's January newsletter to online child care professionals, is in further recognition of National Radon Action Month. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer behind cigarettes and is responsible for some 20,000 deaths every year! Radon is a naturally occurring gas, and it is invisible, odorless, and tasteless. Learn more about this EPA-designated awareness month, why radon testing is so important, especially in child care environments, and researching radon levels by geographic location.
