Infant-Toddler Environment Rating Scales (ITERS-R)

Quality Rating Scales are a system of quantifiable metrics utilized to assess child care program environments, quality, and the professionals who work with a program's children. Rating scales are also tools formulated for different age groups. CCEI's new course, Introduction to Infant-Toddler Environment Rating Scales (ITERS-R), is the first in the series of environment rating scale coursework. This course is beneficial for those who want to learn more about this tool, how to implement the scale to measure their own self-directed evaluations, and how to work toward program goals to achieve desirable metrics when programs are scrutinized by outside parties. This two-hour training course is available for online enrollment now, and awards 0.2 IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs) upon successful completion.
